FA Cup holders Chelsea welcomes Man Utd to the Bridge

On recent form, Chelsea is in danger of losing its grip on the FA Cup, which they won against the same opponents last season. Chelsea’s form has been dismal of late having lost against defending league champions Man City 6-0 in the league. Chelsea, however, managed to beat Swedish side, Malmo in the Europa League 2-1 last Thursday to bring about relief to under-fire head coach Maurizio Sarri.

Will the Chelsea we know turn up tonight and defend their crown or will a resurgent United under Ole Gunner Solsjkaer prevail againstĀ us tonight? Chelsea has been United’s bogey team over the past few seasons and it is hoped this would continue tonight. Sarri needs to ensure that he wins the next few matches to remain theĀ head coach, according to rumours. Supporters have been divided on Sarri this season – some are calling for his head, whilst others are calling for patience. Will Abramovich press the button like he has done over the last 13 years or will he grant Sarri a stay of execution? Rumours are flying as well that the next manager has already been identified, which could ensure Hazard remains at the Bridge. Come what may, the Chelsea FC board, management, fans and its players need to buckle down, remain calm and support the head coach and his vision of football.

The match tonight could be a cracker or a complete disaster and set about a chain reaction that could derail our season. Remember we are one point adrift of United in the league, still in the FA Cup, appearing in the final of the Caraboa Cup on Sunday coming and we are still in the Europa League competition. There is no crisis. We repeat there is no crisis. (had to say this out loud to convince ourselves).

We are loving the chatter and banter on Twitter and on our faebook pages (public and closed) and we encourage each other to please respect one another on these platforms, we can disagree with each other but respectfully.

Wherever you are watching tonight’s match, enjoy it and for once come out in numbers to drown out the cocky United supporters.
