Like thousands of you, we are looking forward to Saturday, 19 May 2012 when we face Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League Finals.

Its the holy grail for us, its what we grave most as supporters, players and management. Hell, it is what we want, what we demand and have to win now after we certainly will not be in the top four of the English Premier League for the first time after 8 years.

As you all know in football nothing is a fait accompli and we will have to play the same game against a resilient opponent as we so masterfully did against the defending champions Barcelona. No-one is again giving us a chance, no-one is thinking that we can pull it off. They do not know this team the way we do and have come to love. Hell, this is Chelsea FC, our team, our hero’s, our galant and courageous players. One team, one supporters, one management.

Yes, we face a Bayern team without several key players like Terry, Ivanovic, Mereiles and Ramires due to suspensions. We could also be without Cahill and David Luiz through injury, but the latest reports from Cobham suggests that the latter two should be ready do battle next week Saturday.

Our final game against Blackburn should be used as a training match to get some combinations going and to get players puttin gup their hand to play in the final.

We salute our hero’s for playing the last 17 games since Di Matteo took over in 53 days. It has been a monumental ask for them, we have lost only 3 games in this period and drawn 4 and winning 10 games in all competitions. What an achievement after our disastrous start to the season. Ha la la Di Matteo, our main man along with his back room staff. They deserve as much credit to the way we have clawed our way back into contention for fourth spot and appearing in two finals. One of these have already been won, the FA CUP. Another awaits us, the Champions League Cup.

Is it our year to win the Champions League? Time will tell. Where were you when we won this title - will some of us ask you over the next few years. We would definitely retort back saying we were right here watching and celebrating our victory, sweet victory.

Send us your photographs of your night out on Saturday, 19 May 2012, and tell us where you are watching the finals.

We have to believe our team will win this. We have endured that miserable evening in 2008 in Russia and we shall overcome this brilliant German team. We have to.

Keep the Faith.

Liverpool is a seven-times FA Cup winner and Chelsea a six-times winner. Chelsea has been in the last 4 finals in seven years and Didier Drogba is our lucky charm. Everytime we play at Wembley, he scores and we win. Drogba should start today’s game and hopefully Luiz and Cahill will start as well, if they have recovered from their injuries.

Its all to play for…watch this space.

What an eight weeks of football at this club. Can we give it up to Roberto Di Matteo and his technical staff for bringing out the best in the team. 14 games, 11 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss. Impeccable, championship form and not least we are in two cup finals.

Take a bow Torres for scoring your first Chelsea hattrick and one after two and a half years for both club and country. If only we had you firing like this at the beginning of the season. Next up after we demolished QPR (6-1) is Newcastle one of two teams standing in our way of ending 4th or even 3rd. This game is up on Wednesday evening and then it is the FA Cup Final on Saturday, 5 May 2012.

Rotating players, altering team strategies and making everyone feel a part of this team is making us play good football again. Dare we dream it, can we win both finals and progress to 4th or even 3rd spot on the league - what are your thoughts on this. Let us know.

Against all odds, against the doomsayers, against 90 000 Catalans, against millions watching the beautiful game - Chelsea prevailed. Chelsea beat Barca 3-2 on aggregate after drawing 2-2 on the night.

What a game, what tension, what guts and glory and the 10 men of Chelsea showed the world what teamwork is all about, what defiance means, what it means to wear the blue jersey of Chelsea. An epic - Barca attacking and Chelsea defending like monsters and counter attacking.

Take a bow Ramires and Torres our goal scorers…take a bow Ivanovic, Meireles, Mikel, Ashley Cole, Terry (when he was on the pitch), Kalou, Mata, Torres, Drogba, Lampard, Bosingwa, Cahill and Cech. Warriors, defenders, defenders of the art of tactical football. What a priviledge to have watched this game.

Headlines across Europe says “Stuff purism, Chelsea’s victory over Barcelona was a triumph of sheer will”

Barca scored first and everyone thought here their fightback starts with Basquets scoring early and then Iniesta scored, 2 - 0 to Barca. By this time Terry was red carded for knocking Sanchez in the back. Deep inot injury time in the first half Ramires broke out wiht the ball, passed it to Lampard and returned it to Ramires in the hole between the defenders and with the Valdes coming out to smother Ramires he in true Brazilian fashion loped the ball ever so gently and it bounched into an empty net. 1-2 and the game was on…Chelsea would go through if the scored remained like this in the second half.

Wave after wave Barca came. Even a penalty given to them went miss as Cech’s antics in the poles made Messi miss. With less than a minute to go in injury time, after yet another Barca attack Cole cleared the ball upfront and in a flash Torres was on to it…rounding the keeper and scoring. 50 million quid well spent, I’d day. He scored the equaliser and made sure Chelsea will be in the final of the UEFA Champion League.

Chelsea awaits who they will face as Bayern Munich (2) plays against Real Madrid (1) at the Bernabeu.

Chelsea however will be without Terry, Meireles, Ivanovic and Ramires after picking up yellow and red cards. For now - we are in two finals…a far cry from where we were not too long ago.

Come on Chelsea…

Tell us what you thought of last night’s game.

Chelsea will face an old enemy on Wednesday evening at the Bridge. Few give them a chance against defending champions Barcelona. Barcelona has swept all before them over the last few years and vows to continue to dominate the European championship. Chelsea is in their 6th semi-finals in 9 years and faces Barca for the umpteenth time.

In their last meeting, also a semi-final, the Blues lost in dramatic circumstances aka stupid refereeing and a late away goal from Iniesta.

So with our backs against the wall we face Barca. No one is giving us a shout at this. No one is predicting the unpredicatable and thats how we like it. With nothing to lose - Chelsea can and should upset the form books.

Coming a 5-1 win against Spurs in the FA Cup - we should have enough confidence to win at the Bridge or at least prevent them for not scoring. So, hopefully Chelsea will still have 11 players on the pitch when the game concludes. Ivanovich should be back, Luiz might be out and all our strikers are back and confident.

I predict we win 2-0.

Chelsea won 5-1 on the night and the game was not without controversy. Chelsea’s second goal in all honesty should not have stood after what looked like a goal from Mata. Replays showed that the ball never crossed the line. This gave Chelsea a 2-0 lead after a fiorst half strike only Didier Drogba could create. He scored his 7th goal at Wembley after seven appearances. Lets immortalise this man - sign him for life - I say.

Bale scored soon after to make it 1-2. Game on or was it. If Bale did not score then Cech in all probablities would have been sent off after bring down Adebayour in the penalty area only for Ble to tap it into an empty net. Chelsea then scored three other goals in the last 20 minutes of the game. A Ramires goal, a Lampard free kick and a Malouda goal wrapped it up for the Might Chelsea.

The final is on 5 May 2012 against Liverpool. Game on!

Who was your man of the match? Let us know! And should Di Matteo be appointed permanently?

After a scrappy win at the Bridge against Wigan (2-1) at the Bridge on Saturday, we came unstuck against Fulham (1-1) and lost some ground in the Champions League fourth spot. If we won at Fulham last night we would have been 4th ahead of Spurs and Newcastle. We are now lying sixth and perhaps (my view only) we deserve it.

With 57 points, trailing Spurs and Newcastle by 2 points (59pts) and with a handful of games still to go…we do face a hurdle or is it a mountain to climb. To top it off, we have a FA cup semi’s and a Champs League semi’s to play…(whoop, whoop) - these games could potentially define our already disastrous season. So, do we go all out in the Cup games and forfeit our league standings or do we play caging and uninspiring football till mid May and qualify for 4th? Which would you prefer?
