Squeaking bum time for Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool in tussle for top four
09 May 2018 | Posted by: admin | Categories: news

Chelsea (69) and Tottenham Hotspur (71) are separated by two points both have two games left to play. Spurs are a further one point behind Liverpool (72), who only have one more game to play. Will Spurs and Chelsea overhaul Liverpool? Will Chelsea lose out on that fourth place if both Spurs and Liverpool win their remain games? Will Spurs lose the plot and lose or draw their next two games? This is why the Premier League has been hailed the best league in the world – it is nailbiting stuff or ‘Fergie Time’ aka ‘Squeaking Bum Time’.

Similarly, last night’s win for Southampton (36) against Swansea ensured they are safe but also made sure West Brom went down after a gallant run during the month of April, which saw the caretaker coach, Darren Moore collect the manager of the month award. Swansea (33) is not out of the woods nor are Chelsea’s opponents tonight Huddersfield Town (36) who has two more games to play (including tonight’s match).

Don’t switch off your television set…it will be a bumpy ride from tonight until the last match on Sunday. Will it be tears of joy or tears of sorrow for teams? Just to recap, Chelsea plays against Huddersfield Town tonight and on Sunday play away to Newcastle United. Spurs play against Newcastle United tonight and on Sunday against Leicester City (Come on Leicester)! Liverpool plays against Brighton Albion Hove on Sunday.

Will tonight’s match at the Bridge be Conte last? Time will tell. Will we make the top four? Let us know!
