The race for top four is hotting up

Chelsea fluffed their lines on Sunday against Everton by losing 0-2 and so be it lose ground in the race to be in the top four.

Scanning Chelsea South Africa Supporters’ comments on social media since Sunday, it is safe to say there is no need to get into the mechanics of the match and tactics applied. There seems to be a mental block with the team and manager and until this is sorted our best bet to be in the Champions League is to win the Europa League outright.

Having said this, we need to congratulate Hudson-Odoi for being picked for the England squad. With eight games to go, who will join Liverpool and Man City as England’s representatives in the Champions League next season. Will this be the last season for Hazard? Will Willian, Pedro, Drinkwater, Zappacosta join him or will they remain with the transfer ban taking into effect this coming European Summer? Will, we finally have a new young and vibrant team made out of those out on loan?

The biggest two questions of all  – will Sarri be around and will Abramovich finally sell Chelsea to Sir Radcliffe?
